Dr. Jonathan Dushoff is a theoretical biologist with a wide variety of interests, but with a primary focus on the evolution and spread of infectious diseases, particularly in human health. Diseases that the lab works on include HIV, syphilis, canine rabies, and Ebola. They apply theoretical, statistical and computational approaches to understanding disease data, with a special focus on methods that combine dynamic mechanisms with statistical inference.
