IIDR Awards Summer Fellowships to Undergraduates
Ten undergraduate students from the faculties of science and health sciences have been awarded the prestigious IIDR Summer Student Fellowship.
The highly competitive fellowship, now in its fourth year and worth $1,000, is designed to support students working in the labs of IIDR members during their summer practicum, which runs from May to August.
Throughout the summer the IIDR will publish a series of in-depth profiles on this year’s awardees, highlighting their research and celebrating their accomplishments.
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2016 IIDR Summer Student Fellowship. They are:
Briony Lago (Dr. Andrew McArthur), Jason Fan (Dr. Dawn Bowdish), Karanbir Brar (Dr. James Mahony), Zafrin Islam (Dr. Karen Mossman), Yung Lee (Dr. Charu Kaushic), Mohammad Ali Khan (Dr. Eric Brown), Loryn Byres (Dr. Marie Elliot), Liban Mohamed (Dr. Lori Burrows), Kimberly Ng (Dr. Mike Surette) and Kelly Dong (Dr. Jianping Xu).
